Gary Hoenig, currently editor-in-chief of ESPN The Magazine, will manage ESPN Books. Hoenig continues to edit the magazine while adding responsibility for acquisitions, editing and production at the book imprint.

Susan McConnell, who has worked for S&S, Putnam, Children's Book Press and Random House, has been named director of children's sales for PGW and PGKids.

Chris Pooley, formerly with Thomson Scientific and Healthcare, has been named a senior partner based at the company's New York City offices.

Barbara Sherrill, currently the editorial managing director, has been promoted to v-p, marketing, succeeding Julie McKinney.

Jim Stewart, formerly v-p of e-commerce, has been promoted to v-p, business operations.
