Theresa M. Borzumato, previously executive director, school and library marketing at Random Children's books, has been named v-p of marketing at Holiday House.

Michael Linder has been named v-p of sales and chief marketing officer. Paul Heroman has been appointed v-p, operations, effective September 12.

Cameron Conant, an author and former PR manager for Zondervan's Bible group, has been named director of publicity for Bibles, reference, Nelson Impact, electronic and the Caribe-Betania Spanish divisions.

Rick Jusko, formerly a senior executive at Chelsea House Publishers, has been appointed v-p of sales.

Ben Sevier and Ethan Friedman, both previously associate editors, have been promoted to editor.

Debbie Sfetsios, previously art director, paperback books, has been promoted to art director, Atheneum Books for Young Readers and McElderry Books. Karene Petrillo, formerly production supervisor, has been named production manager. Daniel Figenshu, previously senior financial analyst, has been promoted to business manager. Kimberly Lauber, formerly education and library marketing assistant, has been promoted to education and library marketing coordinator. Kiley Fitzsimmons has been hired as an editorial assistant.

Kevin Goldman, formerly v-p corporate communications at BookSpan, has been named v-p, public relations, at CNBC. No one had been named to replace him at press time.

Bill Lofy's appearance to promote his books on Paul Wellstone (Foreword, Aug. 29) is being held Sept. 6 at at the Women's National Demorcratic Club, not at the Women's National Press Club.
