![]() WRITERS SUPPORT KATRINA VICTIMS Book Passage owner Elaine Petrocelli (at podium) called on Bay Area authors to come out and raise money for Katrina survivors—and they turned out in droves. Calling themselves Writers4Relief, more than 30 authors helped raise more than $40,000. Authors Amy Tan, Amistead Maupin, Dave Eggers, Maxine Hong Kingston and many others attended. Chronicle Books also donated signed books fpr auction. |
