Coolman Goes to Penguin

After 16 years at Random House, Marie Coolman is moving to Penguin where she will be director of marketing for Hudson Street Press and Plume. Coolman most recently ran the West Coast publicity operations for Ballantine. Coolman's worked on campaigns for a number of high profile authors including John Irving, Amy Tan, Sue Grafton and Susan Orlean. She will relocate from California to New York to begin her new job.
