Haber Up at Rodale

Leigh Haber is adding the title of v-p to her executive editor tag at Rodale Books. Haber, who's been executive editor at Rodale since 2004, will look to broaden the scope of the house's editorial direction.

Sounds True Gets Notaras

Kelly Notaras has been named editorial director at Colorado- based multimedia publisher Sounds True. Notaras, currently a senior editor at Hyperion Books, will begin March 1 and oversee the company's new book division.

Russell Up At Princeton Review

Tom Russell has been promoted from publisher to publisher and v-p at the Princeton Review and Living Language. Russell joined Princeton Review in 1996 as publishing assistant and rose through the ranks to become associate publisher, then publisher in 2002.

Chen Promo'd At Avon

May Chen has been promoted to editor at Morrow/Avon. Chen focuses on romance at Avon.

Metsch Rises At RH Audio

Amy Metsch has been appointed to the newly created position of editorial director at Random House Audio and Books on Tape. Metsch, who's been with the company for three years, previously held the title senior acquisitions editor.

Karyo to MediaBay

Gui Karyo has joined MediaBay as chief technology officer. Karyo, who was most recently chief information officer and executive v-p of operations at Marvel Entertainment, will direct MediaBay's overall information technology strategy in the newly created role.

New Hires at S&S Kids

Cherise Windley, formerly of Productivity Press, has moved to Simon & Schuster's children's division as sales and subrights coordinator. Elena Mechlin has joined as subrights assistant.

Marketing Shifts at Candlewick

Charlie Schroder, former v-p of Creek & River, who ran her own talent development company, Braze Management, has joined Candlewick in the newly created position of v-p of marketing and development. Jennifer Roberts, former director of children's marketing at Houghton Mifflin, also joined Candlewick to fill another new position: director of marketing, publicity and events.
