Pohlman Staying Put at Harcourt

After agreeing to move Houghton Mifflin, Tina Pohlman has had a change of heart and is staying at Harcourt. After Houghton Mifflin sent out word early this week that Pohlman would be coming on board as editorial director of trade paperbacks, Harcourt convinced her to remain by promoting her from senior editor of Harvest Books to the imprint's editorial director. While at Harvest, Pohlman has edited and acquired the National Book Award finalist Florida by Christina Schutt and Kelly Link's Magic for Beginners.
