For no particular reason, this summer seems to be a perfect time to chat up cartoonists.
Dan Clowes was interviewed by WNYC's Leonard Lopate about his new book, Ice Haven. And Phoebe Gloeckner, whose comics often deal explicitly with sexual abuse, was a guest on the station's Studio 360 program, discussing recent problems with censorship and the removal of her books from public libraries.
