Benton Promo'd at Harcourt
Lori Benton, editorial director of Harcourt Children's Books, is adding director of Red Wagon Publishing to her title. Red Wagon, an imprint at Harcourt, focuses on board books, interactive and novelty titles.
Posacki to Carson-Dellosa
Carson-Dellosa Publishing, in North Carolina, which specializes in educational materials and teaching aids, has named Roger Posacki president. Posacki arrives from the Canadian division of Binney and Smith, where he was general manager.
Mancini Up At Penguin
Ali Bothwell Mancini has been promoted at Penguin from associate editor to editor for Penguin and Plume. Mancini has been with the house since 2000.
DK Bumps Up Korman
Tom Korman has been promoted at DK Publishing to v-p, publishing trade sales. Korman, who worked at both Random House and Encore Books, joined DK in 1996 as director of sales.
Einhorn Up At Warner
Amy Einhorn has been named v-p, hardcover editor-in-chief of Warner Books. Einhorn, who will be overseeing the acquisition and editing of titles in this role, was promoted from v-p, executive editor and editorial director of Five Spot.
Hoffman to Regal Lit
Markus Hoffman has joined Regal Literary Inc. as foreign rights manager. Hoffman was, most recently, director of international scouting at Maria B. Campbell Associates.
