Washington BEA Falls Between NYC, Chicago

The number of "verified" attendees at this year's BookExpo America was 22,366 down from the 27,421 industry members who attended BEA in 2005 in New York, but higher than the 18,213 attendees who went to Chicago in 2004. The number of book buyers was down, dropping to 7,324 from 7.701 in NYC and 7,492 in Chicago.
