Quills to Reach More Readers, Viewers

Through a new partnership with MSNBC.com and an expanded broadcast on NBC-TV, Reed Business Information's The Quills is looking to reach a broader group of readers in 2006. The October 10 event, at Manhattan's Museum of Natural History, will be promoted on MSNBC.com (where voters can also cast their ballots) and syndicated through NBC Universal Television Distribution. The show will air on October 21.

This year, awards will be handed out in 21 categories.

On the philanthropic front, new partnerships will help support the New Orleans Public Library "Rebuild" program and a local reading competition in Chicago called "Battle of the Books." For more information, go to www.thequills.org.
