ROCKETSHIP BLASTS OFF
Comics fans and creators turned out in force to celebrate the opening of Rocketship, an 800-sq.-ft. graphic novel bookstore and gallery, located amidst the Brooklyn hipoisie on Smith Street. The opening featured an exhibition by four comics artists. PATTY HEARST REDUX
Novelist Christopher Sorrentino stands in front of the San Francisco house where SLA revolutionaries Bill and Emily Harris were arrested for the kidnapping of Patty Hearst. Sorrentino’s new novel, Trance (FSG), is a fictional account of the kidnapping.
