Ashley C. Andersen, formerly executive v-p and publisher, has been named president, CEO and publisher, succeeding William W. Burnham, who retains the position of chairman and acting CFO. Fell C. Herdeg, director of finance, has been promoted to v-p, finance.

Judy Sommer, who previously worked in educational publishing, has been named national education sales manager. She will focus on coordinating Booksource's 59 independent sales reps.
