DUCTS DOWNTOWN
Ducts.org, a nonprofit Web site that showcases personal stories, held the latest in a series of monthly readings at the KGB Bar in NYC's EastVillage. The readings featured stories from How Not to Greet Famous People, an anthology of Ducts stories published by Greenpoint Press, an independent publisher founded by Ducts.org. BAMBI GOES TO ANIME EXPO
This years Anime Expo in Anaheim, Calif., drew more than 30,000 anime and manga fans. Manga publisher Digital Manga Publishing was on hand to promote its new girl punk adventure manga Bambi and Her Pink Gun.
