Fall 2006 Children's Books

-- Publishers Weekly, 7/17/2006

The 13th and final installment in the Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket and Mommy?, Maurice Sendak’s first pop-up book, may be two of the biggest books of the fall season, but plenty of other titles should get attention as well, no matter what your reading pleasure.

Along with our A–Z round-up of the children’s books due from July through December, and a sneak peek at the highlights for spring 2007, we offer a look at the fantasy genre, asking the question: Has the saturation point been reached? And we profile prolific author Meg Cabot, who has two new novels out, one for teens and one for adults.

Happy reading!
