In this 10-page preview from Gipi’s graphic novel Garage Band, a young man with musical aspirations receives a temporary gift from his father that allows him the chance for independence as well as new responsibility. The gift, an old and dirty garage, provides the young man with a refuge from the outside world and a new vantage point to look at the world from a fresh perspective. Garage Band is due in stores this April from First Second Books.
