Gotham Books senior editor Erin Moore is relocating to the imprint's London office. Moore, whose husband was transferred to London, will continue to work with her list of American and British authors. She will also continue to acquire books from both U.S. and U.K. agents.

Dan Sheehan has been named v-p of sales at Spring Arbor Distributors, which serves Christian retailers. Sheehan succeeds Janet McDonald, who left for a v-p post at parent company Ingram.

Diamond Book Distributors has hired Emily Botica as sales manager, primarily handling the company's Borders Group accounts. Botica arrives from Borders, where she was assistant buyer in fiction.

Colleen Murphy has been promoted to national sales manager, mass market, at Houghton Mifflin's trade and reference division. Murphy was most recently associate director, specialty retail.

Dave Wright has joined the Minneapolis-based book and Web site publisher August Publications. Wright, who was public relations director of the St. Paul Saints, will write for August's Ballpark Digest and Arena Digest Web sites, and will work on book projects.

Trish Boczkowski has been promoted to editorial director at Simon Spotlight Entertainment. Boczkowski—who helped launch the imprint's first list—supervises SSE's staff and oversees the imprint's list, while also editing a number of its bestselling authors, including Lewis Black and Tommy Chong.
