Patricia Kelly has been promoted from special sales director to v-p of sales at Ten Speed Press. Kelly will direct all sales strategies for the publisher in her new role.

Sarah Chance Breivogel and Campbell Wharton have been promoted in the Crown publicity department. Breivogel has been bumped up to publicity manager at Potter Craft while Wharton is now publicity manager for Crown Forum.

Distributed Art Publishers has promoted Jane Brown and Alexander Galan, giving them the added title of v-p. Brown is now v-p, national accounts director; Alexander is now v-p, communications director.

Patricia Park and Sarina Evans have both been promoted in the Ballantine Books publicity department. Parks is now senior publicist and Evan is publicist.

Alisha Niehaus has joined Dial Books for Young Readers as editor. She arrives from DK Publishing, where she worked on the DK Biography series, among other projects. An author and former bookseller, as well as former literary scout, Niehuas has worked on both picture books and novels.

Karyn Marcus has been promoted from assistant editor to associate editor at Doubleday. Marcus has worked on such titles as Jane Isay's Walking on Eggshells and Jeffrey Toobin's The Nine.
