Distribution Deals: Hachette 2, NBN 1

-- Publishers Weekly, 3/15/2007

Hachette Book Group has kept a former sister company in its distribution circle, while adding a client from its new corporate parent. Effective immediately, Filipacchi Publishing has moved its distribution to Hachette. Filipacchi, which, like Hachette, is owned by Lagadere, had been distributed by PGW. The company has also renewed its sales and distribution deal with Time Inc. Home Entertainment. THE, which specializes in publishing branded series, remained part of Time Warner following the sale of the Time Warner Book Group.

Separately, another former PGW client has found a new home: LearningExpress announced that it has rejoined NBN. LearningExpress, publisher of reference works, left NBN for PGW about three years ago.
