A number of categories had eye-catching gains in February, according to AAP's monthly sales estimates. Both the adult and juvenile hardcover segments posted increases of 43.4% in the month. E-book sales were up 44.7%, but that still only amounted to $2.5 million in sales for the 11 reporting companies. Elhi sales were off in the two-month period, but publishers still expect a big 2007 when state adoptions kick in later this year.
