A New Deal for Jance with Touchstone

by Matt Thornton, PW Daily -- Publishers Weekly, 5/11/2007

J.A. Jance, whose first Ali Reynolds book for Touchstone, Web of Evil, hit the New York Times bestseller list earlier this year, has just completed a new deal with the publisher for three more books in the suspense series. Trish Lande Grader, who edited Jance when she was at Morrow, bought world rights from Alice Volpe at Northwest Literary. The first book in the new deal will pub January 2009, with the second and third following, respectively, in January 2010 and January 2011; mass market editions will be published by Pocket. Touchstone will publish Jance's next Ali Reynolds novel, Hand of Evil, this December; her other suspense series will continue with Morrow and Avon.
