Haut, Adamo Up at RH

The Random House Children's Group has integrated the marketing and publicity teams and promoted Judith Haut and John Adamo to oversee the unit. Haut, v-p, communications, has been named senior v-p, communications and marketing, while Adamo has been promoted from v-p executive director, mass marketing to senior v-p, marketing. Both report to group head Chip Gibson.

Kowalchuk, Boyd Up at HC

Tavia Kowalchuk has been promoted from associate marketing director to marketing director at HarperCollins’s William Morrow, HarperEntertainment and Eos imprints. Kowalchuk, who joined HC in 1998, transitioned from the sales team to William Morrow in 2006. Also at HC, Christine Boyd has been promoted to v-p of marketing at the house’s Harper imprint. Boyd joined the publisher in 2000.

Dennis Up at Holt

Robin Dennis has been promoted to senior editor at Henry Holt’s Times Books imprint. Before joining Holt, she worked at the Institute for Women’s Policy Research in Washington, D.C.

Hsu to Watson-Guptill

Timothy Hsu has been named art director at Waston-Guptill. Hsu, who’s worked for Random and Norton, most recently was director of his own firm.
