Today's Vieira Snags Rowling

NBC's Meredith Vieira has scored an exclusive post-publication interview with J.K. Rowling, who will sit down with the Today show co-host in Edinburgh, Scotland to discuss reaction to her series-ending book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Deathly Hallows is scheduled for worldwide English release July 21. Vieira's interview with Rowling will air on Today July 26 and 27 and during a one-hour segment on Dateline July 29. 

According to NBC, Vieira and Rowling will discuss subjects including how the author's work has affected literacy and the publishing industry. In the weeks preceding the interview, fans are being encouraged to celebrate the upcoming publication of Deathly Hallows by going on harrypotter.todayshow.com.
