AAP May Sales Report

After a soft April, sales were up solidly in most categories in May, according to AAP’s monthly sales estimates. Both the adult hardcover and mass market paperback segments posted May gains of 28.5%. The three segments that posted sales declines in May included a 1.8% drop in trade paperback sales, which were also off 2.0% for the year to date, and the elhi segment, where sales were off 1.9% in the month.
