Nicole Brown’s sister, Denise Brown, said she has cancelled plans to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show because of "all the recent developments surrounding the If I Did It book." Brown had been scheduled to go on the show September 13 with Fred and Kim Goldman. It is unclear whether the Goldmans will still appear on the program that will devote its entire hour to the topic. She is expected to discuss her decision during a press conference later this afternoon in Dana Point, Calif.,
Denise Brown today released a statement saying, in part, "the Goldmans have retained a publisher who is rushing the book to market as we speak. And thus, has made the show a mute [sic] point for me." Brown also said, "I very much wanted to be on the show if I could have brought about a change for the positive but the Goldmans, Sharlene Martin the agent and Eric Kampmann the publisher, have made sure that could not happen."
