Promo, Hire at Holt
Claire McKinney has been promoted to v-p, director of publicity of adult trade, at Holt. And Kelly Lignos has joined Holt as a publicist; she arrives from Simon & Schuster.
O'Connor Rodriguez to Hawthorne
Adam O'Connor Rodriguez has been named associate editor at Hawthorne Books. O'Connor Rodriguez was previously senior editor at Willow Springs. At Hawthorne, he will oversee the Rediscovery series and handle some publicity and marketing duties as well.
Reynolds to Ingram
Kimberly Reynolds has been named v-p of marketing and creative services at Ingram Book Group. Reynolds arrives from the Nashville-based Saint Thomas Health Services, where she was director of marketing and communications.
Bittman Up at Scribner
Kate Bittman has been promoted to publicity manager at Scribner. Bittman has worked on campaigns for numerous bestsellers, including Jeannette Walls's The Glass Castle and the 75th anniversary edition of Joy of Cooking.
Abou, Park & Schulz to Foundry
Stephanie Abou, Chris Park and Kristina Schulz have all joined Foundry Literary + Media as agents. Abou, who will also hold the title of director of foreign rights, arrives from Global Literary Management; Park was most recently senior editor at the Center Street and Warner Faith divisions of Hachette Book Group; Schultz, who specializes in children's publishing, arrives from Carlton Books in the U.K.
