Parsley to Little, Brown

John Parsley has been named senior editor at Little, Brown. Parsley, who spent the last five years at St. Martin's/Thomas Dunne Books, has worked on such books as Alan Weisman's The World Without Us.

Kirkpatrick to Thomas Dunne

Rob Kirkpatrick has been named senior editor at St. Martin's/Thomas Dunne, where he will focus on sports, pop culture, history and politics. Kirkpatrick was most recently at the Lyons Press.

Shanfelt to Aspire

Aspire Media has hired Eric Shanfelt to the newly created position of executive v-p of eMedia for Aspire and Interweave Press. Shanfelt was formerly senior v-p of eMedia for Penton Media. He will start November 1.

Brunn Joins Abrams

Jennifer Brunn has been named director of publicity for Abrams. Brunn was most recently publicity manager at Regan Books. Also joining Abrams are Alexis Banyon, as director of trade and proprietary sales, and Jody Mosley, as gift retail manager. Banyon arrives from innovativeKids, while Mosley was at Hachette.

Cole Up at Collins

Anne Cole has been promoted to editor at HarperCollins's Collins imprint for Collins Lifestyle and Collins Wellness.
