Endrody to Tyndale

David L. Endrody has joined Tyndale House as v-p of sales. Endrody, who will be based at the company's Carol Stream, Ill., headquarters, was most recently at American Express, where he served in various executive roles.

May to Rowman & Littlefield

Linda May has been named v-p of marketing at Rowman & Littlefield. May arrives from Greenwood Publishing Group, where she held the same title. Before that she was v-p of creative services at the Gale Group.

Promos at MIT Press

Ann Bunn has been promoted from sales manager to sales director at MIT Press. Erika Valenti has been promoted from trade and special sales associate to associate sales manager; and Marguerite Avery has been promoted to acquisitions editor.

Frazer to Borders

Anne Frazer has been named senior v-p of merchandise planning, replenishment and allocation at Borders Group. In the newly created position, Frazer, who arrives from an executive post at Home Depot, will lead the planning, replenishment and allocation function within the company.

Promos at Beacon Press

Amy Caldwell, Gayatri Patnaik and Brian Halley have all been promoted at Beacon Press. Caldwell and Patnaik have been named senior editors while Halley has been promoted to editor.

Burton to Head UPNE

Michael P. Burton has been named director of the University Press of New England. Burton, who had been production director there, has been serving as an interim director of the press, which is supported by a collection of schools in the region, since June 2006.
