Marjane Satrapi Signs
Marjane Satrapi, author of Persepolis, will be signing books at McNally Robinson bookstore on Friday December 14, 2007 from 7 to 8:30 PM. Pantheon recently published the two volumes of Persepolis as a complete single volume; also. The animated movie adaptation of Persepoliswill be released on Christmas Day. McNally Robinson is located at 52 Prince St in New York City. More information about the event can be found at the bookstore's website.

Dramacon and Zombies Calling at The Beguiling
Svetlana Chmakova, creator of Dramacon, and Faith Erin Hicks, creator of Zombies Calling, will be signing books at The Beguiling comic book store in Toronto, Ontario. The signing will be on December 19th from 4 to 6 PM. More information about the event can be found at The Beguiling's website.

American Elf Archive Now Free
The archives of James Kochalka's daily journal comic American Elf are now free on his website.

BOOM Studios Holiday Party
BOOM! Studios is holding a holiday party Wednesday December 12th at Meltdown Comics. The event will start at 7 p.m.. Meltdown is located at 7522 Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles, CA. More information about the event can be found at the BOOM! Studios website.

CBLDF Holiday Parties
The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund is holding a few member holiday parties. There will be a member party on December 15th in Berkley, CA at Comic Relief, on December 19th in Los Angeles, CA at Golden Apple Comics, and another on December 27th in Vienna, VA at Big Planet Comics. The events are free for CBLDF members. There will be membership sign-up at the door. At all three parties the first 50 members will receive a gift bag. Also, at all the events any member who makes a purchase at the store during the event will get a 10% discount, and the comic book store hosting the event will match purchases with a 10% donation to CBLDF. There will be various guests signing at the events and auctions to benefit the CBLDF. More information about the events can be found at the CBLDF's website.
