Johnson to Agate

Eileen Johnson has been named to the newly created post of executive v-p, global sales, at Agate Publishing. Johnson, who worked with the company in a consulting position through the end of 2007, arrived from Kaplan Publishing.

Cathleen Tetro has been promoted to publisher at Westview Press. Tetro, who's been at the academic Perseus imprint for 12 years, will focus on acquiring titles in the areas Westview has traditionally been strong in, such as anthropology, history and political science.
