Comins to YUP
Jane Comins has been named publishing and marketing director for art, general interest and electronic publishing at Yale University Press. Comins arrives from Hyperion, where she was associate publisher and executive marketing director. She'll start at YUP on May 27.
Rapp Up at St. Martin's
Daniela Rapp has been promoted from associate editor to editor at St. Martin's Press. Rapp, who acquires literary fiction, memoir, translations and biography, among others, brought in such titles as Dog Talk by Harrison Forbes and Things That Make Us [Sic] by Martha Brockenbrough.
Diver to Knight Agency
Lucienne Diver has joined the Knight Agency. Diver, who brings with her clients Rachel Caine and Roberta Gellis, spent the past 15 years at the Spectrum Literary Agency.
Matze Up at Graywolf
Mary Matze has been promoted from publicity manager to publicity director at Graywolf Press. Matze joined the St. Paul, Minn. nonprofit house in 2002 as a marketing assistant. Also at Graywolf, Erin Kottke has been promoted to marketing manager, and Melanie Figg has been hired as development director.
