Northcutt New Borders Fiction Buyer

Jennifer Northcutt has been tapped by Borders to be its new fiction buyer. Northcutt, who will oversee the category for both Borders and Waldenbooks, has been at the retailer for a number of years and, since 2006, was the YA buyer in the children's group. Before 2006 Northcutt was an assistant buyer and, prior to that, worked in Borders stores and on the corporate side. She'll report to Kathryn Popoff, v-p, merchandising and trade books.
