F+W Now F+W Media

By Judith Rosen -- Publishers Weekly, 7/16/2008 7:59:00 AM

Enthusiast book and magazine publisher and content provider F+W Publications, which is headquartered in Cincinnati, announced that it is changing its name to F+W Media effective immediately. “Today our mission is to offer the highest quality content in a wide variety of formats—from print to digital to video—to our passionate enthusiast communities,” said chairman and CEO David Nussbaum.

The name change reflects F+W’s efforts to move more rapidly into the digital marketplace by digitizing its entire catalog of book titles and magazine archives. By the end of the year, the company expects to have more than 1,000 digitized products. In 2009, new books and other new products will be digitized upon release.
