Feature: Christmas 2008— Sports Books for the Holidays
Issue: October 6
Deadline: August 18

PW’s Christmas Sports Publishing Feature will appear in the October 6 issue. This piece will cover all sports books published between August and December 2008. As in past years everything will be open for consideration: baseball, football, basketball, hockey, horse racing/equestrian, golf, running, sailing, classic sport book reissues, novels, reference, business, wrestling, fishing, boxing, biking, hiking, skiing, bodybuilding, mixed martial arts, Ultimate Fighting Championship and NASCAR. 

PW welcomes all ideas, themes, trends or prognostications that publishers would like to make, plus the names of key personnel who would be willing to be interviewed.
