Rosenthal to Head TurnHere
Bud Rosenthal has been named CEO at TurnHere. Rosenthal was most recently CEO of the Bessemer-backed online job board, WorkMetro. Rosenthal will work to add business and expand the company's filmmaker network. Also at TurnHere, John McWeeny has been promoted to COO; David Rich was named senior v-p, sales and marketing; Jon Johnson was named senior v-p, operations; and Guy Ladetzky was named general counsel.
Cary to Chronicle
Ursula Cary has been named editor in Chronicle Books' One & Others group. Cary will focus on acquiring licensed publishing properties and titles with mass market appeal; the group itself is dedicated to such categories as parenting, retirement and relationships. Cary arrives from Simon Spotlight Entertainment, where she worked on Steve & Me and The Cardio-Free Diet.
Genkins to DC
Amy Genkins has been named senior v-p, business and legal affairs, at DC Comics. Genkins was most recently senior v-p, business and legal affairs, and general counsel at Lifetime Entertainment Services. Before Lifetime Genkins was at the Columbia House Company.
Morton Promoted at Rizzoli
David Morton has been promoted to the newly created position of associate publisher of architecture at Rizzoli International.
