Alan Greenspan’s Epilogue Available in E-Book Form, reports CNBC
Greenspan has his book, The Age of Turbulence, out in Penguin reprint with a new epilogue explaining how this economy is not his fault. In a publishing first, Penguin is making it available to download the epilogue for your Sony Reader or Kindle for only $5

Water for Elephants to Fox 2000, reports Hollywood Reporter
Fox 2000 beats out Warner Bros., Universal and Paramount. Francis Lawrence to direct, and Richard LaGravenese is writing the adaptation, which will be produced by Andrew Tennenbaum, Gil Netter and Erwin Stoff. The book spent 12 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list in 2006 and is published by Algonquin

Meghan McCain Avoiding Print Media on Her Book Tour, reports New York Times
While out there flacking for My Dad, John McCain (S&S Children’s) Ms. McCain loves the TV but is wary of print journalists. In the spirit of full disclosure, it should be noted that she did grant an interview to Time for Kids magazine

Herman Wouk Honored by Library of Congress, reports Washington Post
The 93-year-old author of such works as The Caine Mutiny and The Winds of War, will be honored as the first recipient of a new award for lifetime achievement in the writing of fiction. And Donna Rifkind in the Los Angeles Times remembers how influential Wouk was to her reading addiction
