The English writer explored such historical settings as the Roman Britain, medieval France and 16th-century Germany. Some of his works included The Death of Robin Hood (1981), Three Six Seven (1983), Parsifal (1988) and The Wall (1990)

British Library Buys Ted Hughes Archives, reports AP
The Library paid £500,000 ($880,000) to the poet’s estate for the manuscripts, letters, journals and personal diaries

Christopher Buckley Leaves National Review After Endorsing Senator Obama, reports AP
