O’Reilly Media Eliminates 30 Jobs

According to published reports, technology publisher O’Reilly Media has laid off 30 employees spread across both its Sebastopol, Calif. and Cambridge, Mass. offices. The layoffs include 21 at the California office and the rest from Cambridge. A spokesperson for O’Reilly blamed the layoffs on “the economic malaise.” The layoffs represent about 14% of O’Reilly Media’s 222 employees.
