Mobifusion, Encyclopaedia Britannica Release iPhone Apps

In partnership with Encyclopaedia Britannica, mobile software developer Mobifusion has released several new content applications for the iPhone on its m-publishing mobile content platform. The new apps include Britannica Mobile, Britannica Today, Britannica Trivia Challenge and Britannica World Traveler and offer iPhone users a variety of enhanced ways to access to EB content on the device.Mobifusion COO and cofounder Chris McKenney said the new apps were “a first wave of iPhone applications offering quick reference sources, games, trivia and popular content for iPhone. We’re going to be expanding.” McKenney said the newly released apps were “more than just books, we adapt the original titles and personalize them to take better advantage of how the technology can display the content.” McKenney said to look for more iPhone apps on the Mobifusion platform coming from Rough Guides, Dorling Kindersley and other publishers.
