Weiner, Brent Leaving Yale UP
Tina Weiner, associate director and publishing director at Yale University Press, has taken a position as special assistant to the secretary of Yale University, working in the office of international affairs. Also at YUP, Jonathan Brent, editorial director and associate director, has taken a post as executive director and CEO of YIVO Institute for Jewish Research. Both Weiner and Brent's new positions are effective June 1.
Proulx to Three Rivers
Heather Proulx has been promoted to associate publishing manager at Random House's Three Rivers Press imprint (part of the Crown Publishing Group). Proulx started her publishing career at the Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency and joined Crown in 2007; she's worked with such authors as Timothy Ferris, Jillian Michaels and Megan McCafferty.
