Vlahos Up at ABA
Len Vlahos has been named COO of the ABA. Vlahos, who joined the ABA staff in 1992 and has held various positions there over the years, steps into the role Oren Teicher held until he was recently promoted by the ABA board to CEO of the organization. Vlahos will continue to oversee the ABA's education and e-commerce programs.
Lloreda Joining Atria
Christine Lloreda has been named v-p and deputy publisher of Atria Books, reporting to Atria head Judith Curr. Lloreda, who will join Atria June 22, is currently v-p and deputy publisher of S&S's Touchstone Fireside unit.
Clancy Up at S&S
Megan Clancy has been promoted to imprint marketing manager at the Simon & Schuster imprints Touchstone Fireside and Free Press. Clancy was most recently publishing manager at Touchstone Fireside.
