Compiled by Diane Patrick -- Publishers Weekly, 6/15/2009 7:43:00 PM

Today, The Diane Rehm Show hosted journalist Jason Kersten, author of The Art of Making Money: The Story of a Master Counterfeiter (Gotham, 978-1592404469, $26; Brilliance Audio unabridged CD, $29.99), his account of counterfeiter Art Williams, Jr. PW starred its review: “Illustrating Williams not only as a delinquent genius but a sensitive young man seeking paternal love and aesthetic validation, Kersten (who first told Williams's story in Rolling Stone) configures a rollicking and captivating look into a compelling criminal mind.”

Tonight on Access Hollywood: Lauren Conrad, star of MTV's The Hills, whose new YA novel L.A. Candy (HarperCollins, 978-0061767586, $17.99) goes on sale tomorrow. Tomorrow, she’ll stop by The Tonight Show with Conan O’ Brien.
