Kennedy Memoir Coming Sooner
Twelve, the publisher of the long awaited memoir by Senator Kennedy, who died last night at 77, is pushing up the release date by a month. The book will be available next month, along with a limited edition “electronically signed” version for $1000, according to the New York Times.
New NEA Director Has Big Plans
In his third week on the job, Rocco Landesman, the newly appointed director of the NEA, tells the Washington Post that he won’t be leading “a shy NEA.”

According to the Bookseller, Sony plans to put its new readers in indie bookstores later this year, and to use the ABA’s IndieCommerce platform to help them sell e-books.
