Metropolitan Books Nabs Two By Müller

Metropolitan Books has acquired two titles by Nobel Prize winner
Herta Müller. The first is a new novel called
Everything I Possess I Carry With Me, and the second, an earlier work called
The Fox Was Always a Hunter. Metropolitan's Sara Bershtel brokered the deal, for U.S. and Canadian rights, with the author's German publisher, Hanser. The Macmillan division is planning
Everything for a September 2011 publication and
Fox for September 2012. Metropolitan Books, which has published a number of other Müller titles, recently reissued two of her works,
The Land of Green Plums and
The Appointment.
