Kindle Enters Canada

Amazon began selling the Kindle in Canada today. The e-reader will have the same price as in American, $259, and have access to the 300,000 titles available. Several Canadian newspapers will also be available to download. When Amazon rolled out plans for its international Kindle earlier this fall, Canada was notable by its absence. At the time Amazon said it was working to launch a device in that country, but had no comment on speculation that it was having trouble lining up telecommunications partner.
