C.S. Lewis Totally Harper

by John F. Baker -- Publishers Weekly, 4/2/2001

The publisher has made a multimillion-dollar deal with the C.S. Lewis Company, trustees of the late author's estate, that makes it the primary global English-language publisher of all his adult and children's titles. Harper continues to have world rights to the Chronicles of Narnia and can also develop new books based on the series. Eight religion titles that have been done by Harper in the U.K. will now also be published in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand, in conjunction in this country with Harper San Francisco and Zondervan.
