Faye Kellerman Moves Over

by John F. Baker -- Publishers Weekly, 4/2/2001

The female half of the prodigious Kellerman partnership (she and husband Jonathan each do a bestselling book a year, but never together) has taken her act from Morrow over to Warner, where Time Warner Trade Publishing chief Larry Kirshbaum himself signed the deal, North American rights only, with longtime agent for both Kellermans, Barney Karpfinger. No one is talking money, but since four books are involved, by a proven performer, a high seven or low eight seems indicated. Faye's thrillers star the team of Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus, and her next, untitled so far, is due in 2003. Her latest is Stalker, and she has one more to go with Morrow.
