Daly Named BISG Director

Frank Daly has been named the new executive director of the Book Industry Study Group, succeeding longtime BISG director Sandy Paul, who stepped down earlier this year. Daly has spent the bulk of his career at Baker & Taylor, where he most recently was v-p of business development and was involved with the wholesaler's on-demand publishing, electronic distribution of content and Internet fulfillment businesses. Immediately prior to joining BISG, Daly had been v-p of business development for getAbstract.com, a distributor of electronic content to corporations.
