Benton Joins Holt

Lori Benton will join Henry Holt Books for Young Readers as associate publisher, director of marketing, on April 2. Most recently she was director of marketing at Harcourt Children's Books, working at the main office in San Diego. Prior to that, Benton was director of marketing of children's books at William Morrow. She began her career in publishing as a bookseller at the Book Shop in Boise, Idaho.

Benton will report to Maggie Richards, v-p, director sales and marketing, at Holt.
