Scholastic Store Open for Business

The Scholastic Store opened earlier this month at the currently expanding Scholastic headquarters at 557 Broadway in New York City. Clifford was on hand at the March 5 ribbon-cutting ceremonies that launched the 6,200 square-foot SoHo space. The store is 75% books—over 4,000 Scholastic books are stocked—and 25% non-books, like posters, novelty gifts and audio/video materials. Author signings, puppet shows and performances will also be held at the store, which is designed for children up to age 12.
