Bestselling romance author Lisa Kleypas is having her best opening run on the national bestseller charts. Her new Avon title, Suddenly You, lands at #2 on the mass market charts and is the #1 paper bestseller at both Waldenbooks and Borders. Total copies in print after a reprint of 10,000 will be 440,000. The publisher has created a special hatbox counter display—the box lid advertises a special weekend getaway promotion for a lucky fan at a bed and breakfast in San Antonio, Tex., down the road from the Kleypas residence. Her parents own the b&b—and these would be the same folks who gave the former Miss Massachusetts and Wellesley grad one year from graduation to get a publishing contract or else find a "real job."
